FCC plans to consider a funding boost for rural telehealth programs in 2017 and beyond

The Federal Communications Commission is considering a proposal that would roll over previously unused funding in the Rural Health Care Program to meet the current demand. The agency is also exploring longer-term solutions, including increasing the program's annual $400 million cap.
