The drones are coming, and they’re here to help with medical emergencies

In the future, drones might replace ambulances that are slow to respond to emergencies following a natural disaster. The associate dean of William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine has begun pilot testing three drone prototypes equipped with medical supplies and audio and video equipment that connects survivors with an emergency physician.
