2 Moves By Trump This Past Week Could Reshape U.S. Health Insurance In Big Ways

Shelton Allwood joined other demonstrators in Miami last year to register his concern about how Republican changes to the Affordable Care Act might affect people who have pre-existing medical conditions. Democrats have made their defense of the health law a key part of their midterm election campaigns.

Frustrated that Congress hasn’t repealed the Affordable Care Act, the Trump administration continues to make moves that chip away at the ACA’s nationwide protections and give states more control.
