3 new cardiology leaders stepping into new roles

Here are three cardiologist who have recently entered new leadership positions, as reported by Becker’s since April 9:

  1. Jack Sun, MD, was appointed to lead the cardiovascular surgery program at Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag’s Jeffrey M. Carlton Heart & Vascular Institute. 
  2. Coral Terrace, Fla.-based Nicklaus Children’s Hospital appointed Shyam Sathanandam, MD, as chief of cardiovascular medicine.
  3. NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in New York City appointed Noritsugu Naito, MD, to serve as the hospital’s inaugural chief of cardiac surgery and was also named clinical associate professor in the department of cardiothoracic surgery at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine.
