2. GI Alliance also struck a strategic partnership with healthcare technology company Iterative Health. The partnership aims to expand access to clinical trials for GI patients. It will open up GI Alliance’s clinical research sites to Iterative Health’s site network.

With this new partnership, GI Partners of Illinois becomes the only independent gastroenterology group in the state using Acucare’s platform.

The deal will allow GI Partners, the state’s largest independent, physician-led gastroenterology practice, to integrate Athelas’ platform into its network, automating claims processing, reducing denials and improving overall revenue cycle performance.
5. Gastroenterology Associates of Ithaca (N.Y.) has partnered with Sayre, Pa.-based Guthrie, a multispecialty group practice with sites throughout New York and Pennsylvania. According to the March 4 report, all GAI endoscopic procedures will now take place at Guthrie Ithaca City Harbor or Guthrie Cortland (N.Y.) Medical Center.
