COVID-19-related expenses and lost revenue reported by Pennsylvania hospitals and health systems from January 2020 through December 2022 totaled $8.1 billion, according to a report published Jan. 11 by the Pennsylvania Health Care Cost Containment Council and the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania.
