Florida drug importation plan stalls nearly a year after approval: 5 notes

Almost a year after receiving FDA approval, Florida’s plan to import lower-cost prescription drugs from Canada remained mired in delays. Despite the green light from the Biden administration and expectations that the initiative would lower costs for state health programs, the program has yet to take effect, KFF Health News reported Nov. 21.
