The states with the most, least anesthesiologists 

While California has the highest overall number of practicing anesthesiologists, New Jersey leads the nation in the concentration of anesthesiologists per 1,000 jobs, according to the latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Note: Data was not available for Alabama, Iowa, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina and Oklahoma.
