Michigan medical office confirms measles exposure

The Oakland County Health Division has confirmed possible measles exposure for patients visiting a medical office building in Rochester Hills, Mich., according to a June 8 report from The Detroit News. 

Patients visiting the facility on June 3 between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. may have been exposed to the virus, and should monitor themselves for symptoms through June 24, according to the report. 

According to data from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the state has already seen 10 confirmed measles cases this year. The U.S. has reported 1,168 cases so far in 2025. 

In addition, rates of measles vaccinations are also falling nationwide.
