The UCI Health Physician Network has added SoCal Eye as a founding affiliate of its network.
SoCal Eye is an ophthalmology practice with locations in Long Beach and Los Alamitos, Calif., providing eye care services including cataract surgery, LASIK, glaucoma treatment, and management of corneal and retinal disorders, according to a June 30 news release from UCI Health.
The practice will collaborate with the UCI Health Gavin Herbert Eye Institute to expand access to ophthalmology services in Orange County through integrated care and advanced technologies such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries and laser vision correction.
The UCI Health Physician Network, based in Orange, Calif., is a partnership between UCI Health and community providers, clinics and hospitals, working to improve patient outcomes and reduce the total cost of care.
In addition to SoCal Eye, the network has recently added Orange County Urology Associates, United Medical Doctors and Associated Gastroenterology Medical Group as affiliates, the release said.
