The American Gastroenterological Association has partnered with healthcare startup incubator MATTER to launch an inaugural incubator focused on GI startups.
The program will support startups that specialize in transforming the patient experience, advancing diagnostics and accelerating therapies for digestive diseases, according to a May 1 press release.
The initiative aims to address chronic GI conditions including Crohn’s disease, irritable bowel syndrome, liver disease and colorectal cancer.
AGA and MATTER will select 10 startups to participate in the six-month incubator featuring leadership workshops and executive mentorship support.
