The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) announced that more than 2,700 care locations have been recognized as Age-Friendly Health Systems Participants, surpassing the movement’s goal 18-months ahead of schedule. More than 1.4 million older adults have received age-friendly care thanks to the Age-Friendly Health Systems movement since 2018.
