Gary Richberg, RN, CASC, is the CEO of Bellingham (Wash.) Urology Group, bringing decades of leadership experience across physician-owned, corporate-managed and hospital joint-venture ASCs.
Dr. Richberg is a U.S. Navy veteran and seasoned healthcare executive with a proven track record in improving quality metrics, optimizing operational performance and building strong clinical teams. His expertise spans ASC and hospital management, physician relations and healthcare IT integration. Throughout his career, he has remained focused on refining clinical practices and creating work environments that prioritize both staff engagement and patient satisfaction.
He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice, a Master’s in Nursing and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Western Governors University. Dr. Richberg previously served as Director of ASCs at Kadlec Clinic, part of Providence Healthcare, and currently sits on the board of the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association, where he has contributed in various leadership roles over the past 20 years.
Dr. Richberg is deeply committed to advancing the ASC model and advocating for policy, innovation, and access within outpatient surgical care.
