U.S. News & World Report has named the 25 best-paying jobs for 2024, with healthcare-related jobs dominating the list with 14 of the top spots.

The role of nurse practitioner has been named the best job in healthcare by U.S. News & World Report for 2024. 

Press Ganey recently unveiled the recipients of its annual patient experience pinnacle of excellence award, which recognized 97 organizations that show a high level of commitment to the patient care experience. 

The ASC industry is competitive, with many companies vying for market share.

It has been a year since the Federal Trade Commission proposed a rule that would ban noncompete contracts for full-time employees and independent contractors, but there has yet to be a final ruling.

Masking is on the rise in the U.S., especially in healthcare settings. Several states and major health systems have begun requiring physicians and visitors to wear masks as cases of COVID-19 and respiratory syncytial virus continue to surge. 

California has added a requirement for businesses that previously held employees to now-unenforceable noncompete agreements.

Press Ganey has announced the winners of its 2023 patient experience Pinnacle of Excellence award, which recognizes systems that consistently maintain high levels of excellence in patient care. 

Alaska, New Jersey and Minnesota are the most expensive states to visit four different ASC specialists, according to insurance company Sidecar Health’s care calculator.
