Omaha, Neb.-based CHI Health has appointed Renuga Vivekanandan, MD, to the role of vice president and chief medical officer of its physician enterprise. 

Jim Bickel, president and CEO of Columbus (Ind.) Regional Health, will retire next year.

Christine Alexander-Rager, MD, has been named MetroHealth’s acting president and CEO while Airica Steed, EdD, RN, is on medical leave.

Tony Martinelli, PharmD, will become president and CEO of New Martinsville, W.Va.-based WVU Medicine Wetzel County Hospital on Aug. 15.

Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has named Patrick McCormick senior vice president for hospital transformation, effective Sept. 3. He is currently vice president for oncology services at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Ore.
