CEO exits have declined 19.5% in the first half of 2024 compared to last year. 

Bon Secours Hampton Roads has appointed Kristen McSorley, DNP, RN, vice president of its Harbour View Medical Center, set to open in Suffolk, Va., in 2025. 

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare has recently made several executive changes within its hospitals.

Hospitals have reported 66 CEO exits in the first six months of 2024, down 19.5% from the 82 exits reported through the same period last year.

Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute has named Patrick McCormick senior vice president for hospital transformation, effective Sept. 3. He is currently vice president for oncology services at OHSU Knight Cancer Institute in Portland, Ore.

Gary Paxson is resigning as president and CEO of Batesville, Ark.-based White River Health to pursue another career opportunity. 

Craig Richardville, Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Health’s chief digital and information officer, is stepping down from his role after serving in the position since 2019. 

Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans, Vt., has named Michelle Buck, DPN, RN, as the system’s new chief nursing officer.

Tony Lindsey, MD, plans to retire from his role as chief medical and quality officer of Chapel Hill, N.C.-based UNC Health in October.
