This week, Hazard, Ky.-based Appalachian Regional Healthcare appointed two CEOs: one to oversee a region, one to oversee a hospital. 

Murray (Ky.) Calloway County Hospital has named Aaron Rucker as its new CIO. 

Theresa Rutherford, MSN, RN, president and CEO of HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, Ill., plans to retire from HSHS this spring. 

Bill Rutherford is retiring as CFO of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare after a decade in the role. 

Hunter Hamilton, BSN, RN, is the new administrator of Hawkins County Memorial Hospital in Rogersville, Tenn., The Rogersville Review reported Jan. 29.
