Dorval Carter Jr., president of the Chicago Transit Authority, the third-largest public transit agency in the U.S., has been named president and CEO of Chicago-based Saint Anthony Hospital.

Kyle Benoit was named executive vice president COO of Dover, Del.-based Bayhealth, effective Jan. 6.

Hancock, Mich.-based UP Health System – Portage has named Jason Mayra as its new CFO. 

Jean Halpin has been named president of OhioHealth Grant Medical Center in Columbus. 

The start of 2025 has been marked by a flurry of clinical executive moves at hospitals and health systems. 

Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola Medicine has appointed Tara Yurinich, MSN, RN, as chief nursing officer of Gottlieb Memorial hospital. 

Georgetown, S.C.-based Tidelands Health has promoted Erin Shaffer Beadle to executive vice president and CFO, succeeding Beth Ward, who is retiring after a 40-year career in healthcare finance. 

Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph’s Health has appointed David De Simone as its chief administrative officer and general counsel, effective Jan. 13.

Jeff Elbracht, president of the Pullman (Wash.) Regional Hospital board of commissioners, resigned Jan. 5, after serving on the board for 18 years. Tricia Grantham succeeded Mr. Elbracht in the role.
