Josiah “Sy” Johnson has been named CEO of Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Ore.

Scott Raynes, president and CEO of Brunswick-based Southeast Georgia Health System since 2022, will step down in March 2025 for a new role.

Austin Reeder has been named the next president of Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, effective Feb. 10.

Mike Howard has been named North Alabama market president and CEO of two Lifepoint Health hospitals.

Houston Methodist has named Jenny Chang, MD, as the next president and CEO of its academic institute and systemwide chief academic officer. 

Brian Harte, MD, has been named president of Cleveland Clinic’s east submarket in the Northeast Ohio market, effective Feb. 1.

UC San Diego Health has named Chantelle Venter CFO of its physicians group, according to a post on her LinkedIn page. 

Amanda Barash has been named senior vice president and CFO of MedStar Washington (D.C.) Hospital Center and Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health Research Institute, according to a post on her LinkedIn page. 

Todd Hickey, chief strategy officer of Greenville, N.C.-based ECU Health, will assume a new role Jan. 1.

David Hughes, president of Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, N.J., has also taken on the role of CEO, effective Dec. 1.
