Tricia Costigan has stepped down as president of two Brewer, Maine-based Northern Light Health facilities following the resignation of another hospital president.

Hattiesburg, Miss.-based Forrest Health has named an interim president and CEO following the resignation of its leader of the past five years.

Kevin Spiegel has joined Vista Health System in Waukegan, Ill., as CEO. 

Renton, Wash.-based Providence’s CIO, BJ Moore, has left the health system after six years in the role.

Gordon Ferguson will retire by the end of June 2025 as president and CEO of Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tenn., according to a release from its parent company, St. Louis-based Ascension.

Gregory LaFrancois has stepped down as president of Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Chicago-based Cook County Health has nominated Erik Mikaitis, MD, as its next CEO following an eight-month national search, according to a statement shared with Becker’s.

Johnson City, Tenn.-based Ballad Health has named Bob Bender CFO of its Northern region, according to an Oct. 16 post on his LinkedIn page. 

Lynette Chappell Williams, vice president and chief diversity officer of Penn State Health, will retire Nov. 29. 

Joey Waddell has been appointed COO of Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky.
