Warwick, R.I.-based Kent Hospital, part of Providence-based Care New England, has tapped Jennifer La Luz as executive director of operation.

Phoenix (Ariz.) Children’s has appointed four new division chiefs in four different areas of care across the health system, according to an Oct. 4 news release from the health system. 

Sutter Health has hired Kiran Gupta, MD, to serve as its inaugural associate chief quality officer.

St. Catherine of Siena Hospital, part of Buffalo, N.Y.-based Catholic Health, has appointed a new chief medical officer and chief nursing officer. 

Jared Smith was appointed CEO of UT Health Henderson and UT Health Carthage, both part of the UT Health East Texas system, according to a Sept. 27 news release shared with Becker’s. 

John Moynihan, MD, was named president and chief of clinical enterprise at Falls Church, Va.-based Inova.

Jason Stenta has been tapped as senior vice president and chief commercial officer of Walgreens, effective in early October.

Theresa Fink has been named market vice president and COO of Conemaugh Physician Group after serving in the role on an interim basis since May.
