UC San Diego Health was given $25 million by the McGrath Family Foundation in support of the development of the health system’s new outpatient center.

Construction on a 10-story outpatient office building in Alexandria, Va., has stalled as the building’s team struggles to line up an anchor tenant, according to a Dec. 6 report from the Washington Business Journal.

Construction is complete on a 22,000-square-foot, $10 million medical office building in Queen Creek, Ariz., the first medical office building in the market, according to a Dec. 4 report from ConnectCRE.

AdventHealth Daytona Beach (Fla.) has installed the final beam on its new ASC and medical office building, which is slated to open in the spring of 2024, according to a Nov. 29 report from the Observer.

Mount Vernon, Wash.-based Skagit Regional Health is planning to open a new ASC, goskagit.com reported Nov. 28.

Alabama, a state that requires a certificate of need to build surgery centers, has seen recent ASC activity. 

Henderson, Nev.-based Crovetti Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine has opened a second location in Las Vegas, Nevada Business reported Nov. 27. 

MedStar Medical Group, which is part of Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health, has signed a lease with St. John Properties for an additional 19,739 square feet of space in a four-story medical office building, Eye on Annapolis reported Nov. 26.
