Edgewood College debuts CRNA program

Madison, Wis.-based Edgewood College has launched a Doctor of Nursing Practice program, according to a June 18 report from Channel3000.

The program, which will welcome its first students in August, will prepare future CRNAs to deliver comprehensive anesthesia services.

The program was established to address an increased demand for anesthesia services in rural practice settings.

Graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification exam administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists and qualify for licensure as a CRNA and advanced practice registered nurse, according to the report.
