Good Samaritan launches preventive cardiac center

Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., has launched its Center for Preventive Cardiac Medicine to enhance “proactive” heart health and early detection of cardiovascular diseases, South Florida Hospital News reported March 26.

The center is led by Brijeshwar Maini, MD, a structural interventional cardiologist. The program will offer diagnostic tools and personalized prevention strategies for patients looking to manage and reduce their risk of heart disease.

The center will offer advanced imaging, calcium scoring, stress echocardiograms, CT angiograms and metabolic heart testing.

The center will also offer workplace wellness programs designed to support businesses in maintaining a “heart-healthy workforce.” These programs will provide executive cardiovascular physicals for company leaders, heart health screenings, fairs for employees and complimentary physician lectures on cardiovascular wellness.
