- Kieran Harper was named CFO of Draper, Utah-based Lone Peak Hospital, which is part of HCA Healthcare’s Salt Lake City-based MountainStar Healthcare.
- Nicole Tucker, RN, was appointed CEO of LewisGale Hospital Alleghany in Low Moor, Va., part of HCA Healthcare.
- Joseph Gleason has been named CEO of HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie.
- Reston (Va.) Hospital Center, part of HCA Healthcare, named Henrietta Skeens its new CFO.
- HCA Healthcare purchased a medical office building in Thousand Oaks, Calif., for $70 million.
- The company is continuing to invest capital into the cardiology sector, as it saw growth from both inpatient and outpatient cardiac surgeries during the first quarter of 2025.
- In the first quarter, HCA Healthcare brought in $18.3 million in total revenues and grew its network to 125 freestanding ASCs.
- HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, opened a new three-story medical office building, which will offer several specialties including family medicine, cardiology, pulmonary, general surgery, vascular care and orthopedics.
- Sam Hazen, the company’s CEO, said that HCA is unconcerned about the potential effects of site-neutral payment policies on its ASC development strategy during an earnings call in January.
