Oak Brook, Ill.-based Independence Health System plans to open an expanded cardiology services building in Greensburg, Pa., Latrobe Bulletin reported June 11.
The new facility will offer interventional cardiology services, an anticoagulation clinic, heart disease management services, a heart failure clinic, cardiac surgery and a cardiac electrophysiology and device clinic.
The building is located directly across the street from Westmoreland Hospital and its catheterization labs, enabling providers to quickly manage emergencies and transfer patients between facilities.
