Maryland Reports Largest Rise Yet In Coronavirus Cases, 4 Days After Reopening

The number of people hospitalized due to COVID-19 has continued to fall in Maryland — but the state is also reporting a spike in new cases, days after reopening its economy. Roughly 25% of the 7,152 tests in the most recent 24-hour period resulted in positive COVID-19 diagnoses.
