Misinformation on social media tops the list of challenges physicians face in modern medical practice, according to a recent survey from The Doctor’s Group.
The survey, conducted between December 2024 and January 2025, included responses from 368 physicians across 47 states.

- High cost of drugs: 55%
- Lack of patient trust in physicians and system: 52%
- Political climate: 42%
- Threat of malpractice case: 38%
- Searching of symptoms/ online consumer medical groups: 31%
- Cybersecurity threats: 17%
- Increased use of AI and other technologies: 10%
