The new cardiology practices, centers from Q1

Here are eight new cardiology practices, centers and ASCs that launched, broke ground and planned openings, as reported by Becker’s in the first quarter of 2025:

  1. Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., launched its Center for Preventive Cardiac Medicine to enhance “proactive” heart health and early detection of cardiovascular diseases.
  2. Tri-City Cardiology, a Mesa, Ariz.-based cardiologist group, will open a location within a new medical office complex in San Tan Valley, Ariz. 
  3. Nine physicians from the New England Heart and Vascular Institute at Catholic Medical Center are branching out to establish Cardiovascular Specialists of New England, an independent practice.
  4. East Meadow, N.Y.-based Nassau University Medical Center opened a new thoracic surgery clinic.
  5. San Antonio-based Christus Children’s Hospital earned a $2.74 million grant for a pediatric cardiac surgery center.
  6. Endeavor Health opened a cardiovascular center at its Edward Hospital campus in Naperville, Ill.
  7. City leaders in Gautier, Miss., in partnership with Memorial Health Systems, broke ground on a cardiac surgery center.
  8. APEX Vascular Outpatient Center opened the only specialized vascular ASC in the state in Lenoir City, Tenn.
