- West Virginia Gov. Patrick Morrisey signed a bill that allows certified registered nurse anesthetists in West Virginia to administer anesthesia in cooperation with — rather than under the supervision of — a physician.
- California Assemblyman Heath Flora introduced two pieces of legislation that aim to clarify rules and regulations around CRNAs in the state.
- Two Florida lawmakers filed legislation to grant CRNAs the ability to practice without physician supervision.
- Legislation was introduced in the Virginia House of Delegates that would eliminate supervision requirements for certified registered nurse anesthetists.
