U of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center breaks ground on ASC

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer in Houston has broken ground on a new 470,000-square-foot facility in Sugar Land, Mirage News reported March 31.

The five-story center is slated to open in 2029 and will be the largest facility constructed by MD Anderson to date, according to the report.

The facility aims to broaden service offerings at MD Anderson’s Sugar Land location and will feature an ASC, expanded diagnostic imaging service, radiation oncology and other outpatient procedural services.
