Optum is laying off 524 employees in California jobs, according to a required filing in that state through the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act.
Optum submitted the list of layoffs and permanent closures on July 18.
There are 221 permanent layoffs in Los Angeles County, with 64 in Segundo, and 157 in Cerritos.
In San Bernardino County, a permanent closure is affecting 71 employees in Redlands and Highland.
