Despite elevated medical costs, Elevance Health managed to perform more or less in line with expectations in the first quarter, bringing in $2.2 billion in profit, a slight decrease from the $2.25 billion in profit reported in Q1 2024.
Revenue was up year-over-year, hitting $48.9 billion in Q1, a 15% jump as compared to $42.6 billion a year ago.
