While nonprofit health systems are doing more than ever to run efficiently, it’s getting harder for them to make money. That’s according to a new report from Fitch Ratings, which said it’s maintaining a negative outlook for the sector based on its evaluation of audited 2017 data for nonprofit hospitals around the U.S.
