Health systems should have more clarity on a much-anticipated proposed interoperability rule “hopefully in the next couple of weeks,” CMS Administrator Seema Verma told reporters on Tuesday. She also said adding data-sharing requirements to Medicare Conditions of Participation is “much easier, to some degree, for hospitals and physicians.”
