More than 18 million people died during the pandemic in 2020 and 2021, which is more than would have been expected from past trends, researchers found.
The study, which covers a period when nearly 300 million doses were administered in the U.S., found no link between the number of deaths recorded and the vaccine.
“Although conversion therapy has been demonstrated to be ineffective, and often harmful, it is still being used in 2022,” wrote Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy, a medical director at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Brain scans revealed a “significant, deleterious impact” associated with Covid-19, including an overall reduction in brain size, damage in regions linked to smell and greater cognitive decline compared to people who had not been infected.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the country can “protect ourselves without losing our liberties…moving from government restrictions to personal responsibility.”
